Beginning in the year 1992 the United States saw a dramatic upswing in violent crime creating statistics that bordered on what were then considered "third world" countries. Riots regarding every aspect of society were prevalent and individuals were, as the parties explained "walking the streets in fear".

With the founding of the tea party radical ideas were proposed to combat this violent outbreak which culminated in the annual "Purge", a yearly exercise in self discipline, self control, and intense violence. For one night a year all crime is legalized for a period of twelve hours. All emergency services and travel is suspended and citizens, with the exception of a few are encouraged to follow a few rules before allowing anarchy to rein.

This has created a culture of almost worshipful behavior towards the former "Tea Party". Post their election and eventual permanent placement in positions of power in society, they changed their name to the "new founding fathers of America" and established a rule half martial law half imperialist republic. On the one hand the constant attitude that violence is an accepted part of life creates almost cult-like behavior, on the other there are people who rebel and remember a time when America meant freedom and was not considered an almost barbaric country by most of the world...

Despite the consideration that other countries are making into generating a purge themselves.

The numbers don't lie and government officials are using this to not only push a pro-violence platform but erase other laws that they find detrimental to the rest of their doctrine and dogma. Yet there are many who resist these changes and still cling to the notion that this is a land of the free - as opposed to just a home of the brave.

THERE ARE NO AFTER PURGE CONSEQUENCES EXCEPT IN THE CASES OF RAPE. Individuals who desire to cleanse themselves through violently forcing others, upon identification, can and will be forced to pay all aftercare, duties, fees, and healthcare expenses to the individual(s) who were harmed. In cases that result in permanent injury said individual can and will also be punished to the fullest extent of the law. While this government does not discourage this behavior, the resulting effect to the United States economy is considered too detrimental in the long term.
